About Lebanon Plumbing Pros

A Lebanon, PA plumbing company built around a simple observation: this town's homeowners kept getting the same raw deal — no published prices, voicemail after hours, sewer quotes with no camera footage, and not one plumber's website in Spanish in a city where a third of households speak it at home. We built the plumber we couldn't find.

Our story

Lebanon is a working town of brick row houses, most of them built before 1940, on streets where everybody knows whose truck is parked outside whose house. It's also a town where about 40% of homes still drain through original cast iron, where the water is very hard, and where a sewer lateral can sit quietly under clay-and-shale soil for decades before it picks the worst possible weekend to fail.

Lebanon Plumbing Pros started with the gaps, because the gaps were obvious. Nobody in this market published a price for anything. Nobody explained that the sewer line under your street is yours to fix. Nobody explained the city's permit rule — when a job needs one and when it doesn't. And in a city that is about 45% Hispanic/Latino, nobody — not one local plumbing company — offered a word of Spanish service.

So the company was built backwards from those gaps: publish the prices, show the camera footage, answer the phone at 2 a.m., handle the permits, and habla español. That's the whole story, and it's also the business plan.

How we work

  1. You call. A person answers. Day or night. Tell us what's happening; we'll tell you honestly whether it's an emergency or can wait until morning.
  2. We diagnose before we quote. On drain and sewer work, that means a camera down the line — you see the same footage we do.
  3. One flat price, approved by you. Before work starts. If we find something new mid-job, we stop and re-quote. Nothing extra happens without your say-so.
  4. The right fix, not the biggest one. If a snaking will do it, we won't sell you a jetting. If the pipe is done, we'll show you why.
  5. Clean up, follow up. Shoe covers, drop cloths, debris hauled out — and a check-in after the job. If something we touched isn't right, we come back.

What we know: Lebanon's plumbing, specifically

  • Pre-1940 cast iron. Rough, scaled, root-prone drains are the default in the city's oldest neighborhoods — we plan for them instead of being surprised by them.
  • Very hard water. Lebanon County water is classified very hard — regional estimates put it around 14 grains per gallon (about 240 mg/L). It eats water heaters and narrows pipes; our advice accounts for it.
  • Clay-and-shale over limestone. Shifting soil cracks and bellies buried laterals; tree roots finish the job. Camera first, always.
  • Lead service lines. Homes built before 1986 — and especially before 1940 — are the risk zone. We can tell you how to check yours.
  • Freeze season, November to March. January lows around 20°F. Frozen and burst pipes are a Lebanon winter ritual we'd rather prevent than repair.
  • Well & septic country. Outside the city, it's pumps, pressure tanks, and septic systems under PA's Act 537 rules. Different world, same standard of work.

Who we serve

HomeownersAbout 46.7% of Lebanon city households own their home — most in houses older than their grandparents. Price-first, camera-first service built for exactly that housing stock.
Landlords & property managersWith 53.3% of the city renting, landlords are core customers here: one number, one invoice format, priority scheduling, turnover cleanouts and winterization.
Spanish-speaking householdsAbout a third of Lebanon households speak Spanish only. Spanish-language help by phone and written estimates in Spanish — not an afterthought, a founding decision.
